At the Krakow Music Centre, a “Box in the Box” system was implemented, enabling complete acoustic isolation of the interiors from external influences. GSBK was responsible for the structural design of the building, with the load-bearing system tailored to meet strict acoustic and construction requirements.

The structural solutions included independent load-bearing systems – an external reinforced concrete shell and an internal supporting structure for the concert halls. The entire assembly was separated using a system of mats and vibration-damping layers.

To shorten the construction time and ensure high quality, extensive use was made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements.
