Detailed Design of the Main Structure Including the Roof Structure for the Thermal Pretreatment Process

The designed facility has a footprint of 24.000 × 10.500 m, with a total structural height of approximately 42 m.

Structural system:
• Frame structure
• Single-branch I-section columns
• Primary and secondary I-beams

Wind loads are transferred to the columns through horizontally arranged cladding panels fixed directly to the columns. The structure is rigidly connected to the columns, which are fixed in the foundation.
The designed BioTrac section is structurally integrated with the frames of the main hall.
