Workshop/steel
Construction works in progress
Design author's supervision
The facilities consist of two single-storey halls: the Filtration Hall and the Workshop.
Filtration Hall
The primary structural system consists of repetitive transverse frames spaced at regular intervals. It is a single-bay hall with lattice beams and lattice columns. Roof purlins are designed as continuous multi-span beams made of IPE sections. The structure is adapted for the installation of an 8-ton overhead crane, with crane girders supported by cantilever brackets fixed to the lattice columns.
Workshop
The structural system is based on repetitive transverse frames spaced at 5.0 m and 5.5 m intervals. It is a single-bay hall with lattice beams. Roof purlins are designed as continuous multi-span IPE beams.
Both halls feature bracing systems that ensure spatial stability, including:
• Vertical bracing in external columns
• Transverse vertical bracing in columns
• Roof bracing in both transverse and longitudinal directions
• Longitudinal vertical bracing between girders, including struts in the Workshop
The roofs of both halls are covered with trapezoidal steel sheeting, Class II, in accordance with PN-EN 1993-1-3, to ensure purlin stability.
